Mother and Calf doing well

Yes Spring is upon us, before we had time to say BRRR it's cold.

And of course, being Spring, our own tiny Animal Kingdom is proving as fecund as ever.

In the Ewe Department, 14 of our girls have produced 24 lambs to date, with 2 mothers still to go.

And in the Cow Department, our first arrival this year is a yet unnamed calf from one of our Highland Cows -- Helena Bonham Carter. (HBC took the name after the previous HBC, a chicken, left this mortal agrarian coil -- almost certainly dispatched by a ferret. Yep, its risky being posh out here on the farm.)
