The label shows the proprietor's grandparents picnicking with friends at Wanaka circa 1920. Happy days.
Pale straw in color, with riverstone and citrus aromas with a steely, freshly driven palate showing tangerine skin, spice and lime zest flavors with a lingering soft acid finish. Off dry 10 – 12g/L residual sugar.
Again our fruit from Redbank was supplemented with fruit sourced from Gibbston Valley and the Cromwell regions to make this lively varietal wine. Again very approachable in its youth, but has the potential to age elegantly over the next 3 – 5 years.
