The label shows the proprietor's grandparents picnicing with friends in Central Otago circa 1924. All they lack is the perfect Picnic savvy!
Again our Picnic Sauvignon Blanc is a classic example of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
The 2006 vintage which was very good for Marlborough, offers wonderful fresh cut grass aromas, lemon and lime but also it delivers outstanding mouth appeal, vibrancy and palate weight. Even though very young it is a superb effort for a Sauvignon Blanc that typifies Marlborough and captures the total expression of this variety such as lychee, gooseberry and fresh summer fruits. Drink now or keep for another year. Ideal with shellfish
Bottled: September 2006
