As we march into a strangely new year and an unfamiliar new world order , let us reflect on the last couple of months in 2016 for Two Paddocks, which gave us all a great deal of satisfaction.

 Critical Response to our wines .

*The Fusilier was one of only two wines from New Zealand to make that list . *If you hear a distant trumpet ...yes, its ours. Play it dude !

The Wine Advocate [ Robert Parker ] - Lisa Perrotti-Brown

Gave Two Paddocks First Paddock Gibbston Pinot Noir 2015 all of 94 + points. The highest points we’ve had to date from The Wine Advocate , and put us in the Top 10 of Lisa’s NZ report .

Close behind was Two Paddocks The Last Chance Pinot Noir 2015 93+ points.

Two Paddocks The Fusilier Pinot Noir 2015 , very strong at 92 points , and Two Paddocks Pinot Noir 2015 at 90 points

The Fusilier Bannockburn 2015 gaining 95 Points (the highest score EVER for a Two Paddocks wine in WS) and Two Paddocks Estate Pinot Noir 2015 given 93 Points – an individual best result for this wine.

In short , we have been , albeit modestly , absolutely WALLOWING in hard won RESPECT.

Here’s hoping this year is as good to us all . But , a word of advice – we won’t release our Reserves until May . We anticipate equally strong responses and great demand . So , order a case or two in advance. [ ‘ I have ‘- The Prop. ]
