Inaugural Private Paddock PICNIC Day 2022

At the end of 2021, we made the heart wrenching decision to cancel the Pop Up and Paddock to Plate Lunch for our Private Paddocks members this year due to the uncertainty of a looming Covid spread. We never wanted to let our loyal members who had booked flights/accommodation and summer holidays around this much anticipated annual event down.

Instead, we thought it would be quite fitting to launch a much more relaxed affair at Redbank Farm and Vineyard in Clyde. What blossomed out of a dismal time, actually became what we anticipate, to be an even more sought-after event namely the PICNIC Day. It had all the frivolity of the Long Lunch, without the pomp.

We had foraging, farm tours, lavender press exhibitions, we even had a swimmer in the lake. Picnic baskets a plenty and our friend Graham Wardrop and his dulcet tones on the mic.
