2008 Picnic Sauvignon Blanc

The label shows the proprietor's grandparents picnicing with friends in Central Otago circa 1924. All they lack is the perfect Picnic savvy!

Again our Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from premium vineyards in Marlborough.

Capsicum, lollies, gooseberries and intense passionfruit flavors, and hints of grassyness lead to a strong mid palate weight and a lingering finish.

Although approachable in its youth, this wine has the potential to develop with bottle age, and start to show its strengths in about a year's time.
