Why "Socialist" chardonnay? The name was inspired by former Queenstown mayor Warren Cooper, who, in a moment of pique, dubbed our proprietor a "chardonnay socialist." Thanks for the inspiration, Warren!

Workers of the world -- cheers! You have nothing to lose but your thirst! Comrades! Rise up! Raise a glass of this excellent chardonnay from the Canterbury collective! Long live the party! Your party!

Description: Lime, mineral and ripe citrus characteristics, with a nice fully layered texture and a crisp persistent finish.

Bottled: March 2005
